I'm waiting to hear back from optom (won't hear back till March). I'm trying not to think about and just focus on school, but I do find it creeping into my thoughts and it's slowly killing me inside.
I'm a PT hopeful!! I got rejected last year but I pulled my sub-GPA up from a 3.61 to a 3.88 so I'm optimistic this time around! Check out this forum to communicate with other applicants:
I've actually lurked on that forum so many times but didn't actually sign up to post anything! It's been extremely helpful and sometimes reassuring to see other people worrying about the same kinds of things I've been worrying about.
3.88 is a strong sub GPA, hopefully you get in this time!
As a current grad student, just reading this gives me flashbacks. I feel like I aged 5 years in the months I spent waiting to hear back. Good luck you guys. (And also: know that sometimes what you have planned and what you'll end up doing aren't the same thing, and the random opportunities that come up later might be even better than the things you were initially striving for....seriously)
