QUESTION: Are women ever actually 'intimidating' or is this just some guy trying to nicely tell me I look like a troll...

  1. Obviously.
If you're really muscular, aggressive, talented, confident or tall then that can be intimidating to someone less muscular, non-aggressive, less talented, less confident or short.

  2. OP I get this a lot too and I think he means it in a good way. I get told that I'm intimidating because I'm what society considers good looking, I have good academics and a bit of a bitchy attitude. I take it as a compliment usually ~

  3. Intimidating is a relative term. An average looking dude with not a lot going on in his life will find an attractive, intelligent, successful lady to be much more intimidating than a guy with the same qualities as said lady. I think it's synonymous with being out of somebody's league. As an aside, when guy refers to a girl as intimidating, it's almost never in an "I feel physically threatened" sort of way.

  4. For me I think a girl is "intimidating" when I think they're out of my league, like someone I don't think I can comfortably talk to cause I'm not cool enough..... :\
