  3. If I'm sitting at the tables, then I ask my neighbour to keep an eye out on my stuff. But if I'm alone in the cubicles then I try to get up as infrequently as possible. Like, I'll go to the bathroom before I go sit down or get the textbook I need on my way up and return it on my way out.

    1. You ask a random stranger to watch your stuff? I have never understood this.

    2. @ 3.a.: Same. Never understood this logic. Do you realize that your neighbor might be the one who steals people's stuff?? You don't know them.

  4. If I'm with my friend (assuming I'm close with them), I give them my laptop and wallet for them to watch over. Otherwise, I just take my laptop and other valuables with me. I never liked having to put the responsibility on neighbours to watch my stuff.

  5. I rarely have my laptop with me when I'm on campus. When I go to the bathroom, I just take my phone and leave everything else.
