  1. Yeah, pretty much any of the cafés will do it for you. I usually go DP to get them to fill up my mug with hot water.

    1. Yeah DP cafe is cool with that sort of thing. Tim Hortons, not so much.

  2. If you're around the faculty of science buildings (i.e. the biology buildings, ESC building), then you can get free hot water at the Science CnD.

Also, you could probably get free hot water at the Math CnD or the Engineering CnD.

    1. Yeah, Eng CnD will let you. At 45 cents for a mug of tea (own mug) though, I stopped bothering and just buy it so I could get different flavours though.

  6. I think all the Food Services-run cafés and student society cafés are fine with giving out hot water. I don't know why Tim's would be dicks, but I'll take your word for it.

    2. I have tried to get hot water from them, Tim's insists that I buy a cup of tea in order to give me hot water.

  7. Turnkey at SLC does it as well

  8. Tim's does that because they're a business, not a university service. Duh.

  9. Tim's is actually run by Food Services... so it's kinda weird that they would refuse but other Food Services cafes wouldn't. Possibly because of higher customer volume?
