QUESTION: Best ways to get rid of dead skin on the bottom of your feet? I just bought a foot file and stuff and not sure how best to use it. After a shower? When they're completely dry? Any other products I can be using?

  1. theres a lotion they sell at shoppers drug mart called heel balm or something that moisturizes and makes the skin smooth instead of filing it off

  2. Those little Japanese fish that eat the dead skin off... piranhas.

  3. I'm not sure about dealing with really dry skin, but to prevent it from getting worse, I moisturize a ton and sleep with socks on. They're always super soft in the morning.

  4. Soak feet in warm water, use a pumice stone to remove dead skin, moisturize (perhaps with something like coconut oil - great moisturizer!) and sleep with socks after moisturizing.

    Hope this helps! :)

  5. After a shower/in the shower near the end is great so you don't just rub all the dead skin off onto the floor or something, moisturize lots right after ! Definitely sleep with socks after slathering on the lotion
