breaking up with (someone wielding a loaded shotgun) OR breaking up (with someone) [while] wielding a loaded shotgun ? Neither are advisable, though for different reasons.
What are you going to go show him this thread and be like "see, other people say they would be angry too! That's why I'm right: because other people said so". Is our judgement somehow more important than yours? Do we have a better perspective on YOUR situation?
^Or maybe OP is just in a rough spot mentally - judging by the situation, almost definitely, and you'd realize it if you weren't all insensitive pricks - and just wants to check with the prevailing opinion to make sure they're still thinking straight.
Why the fuck are some of you so ugly on the inside? Take your pitchforks and shove them up your asshole
If you are someone who goes out drinking frequently and that was part of the reason for the break up (either being too drunk or acting a certain way while drunk) then yes, I would say it is perfectly acceptable. Otherwise I would see the decent thing to do would be to have waited but I'm you were sober.
Not really. It can probably wait til the morning.
ReplyDeleteno. they might forget about it in the morning
ReplyDeleteNo. Are you crazy?
ReplyDeleteIn a similar vein, is breaking up with somebody wielding a loaded shotgun acceptable? What if their dog just died?

no you piece of shit
ReplyDeleteOP here, I was the one dumped while drunk, and just wanted to see if I'm justifiably angry...
ReplyDeleteYou need anonymous internet users to tell you when to be angry...?
DeleteThink for yourself. It's not that damn hard to see.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. If you did something inexcusable while drunk your partner was justified in breaking up with you. Otherwise it's a bit of a bitch move.
