QUESTION: How far do you live from campus? And how do you get to campus - car, bike, walk, bus etc.? Does the weather heavily influence your decision?

  1. Live about 2.5- 3k from campus. Walk, bike, and take the bus depending on the day and situation. Weather is somewhat of a consideration. I'll bike in cold/snow but not in the rain but that's more of a bike maintenance thing than a comfort thing.

  3. I live an hour away by bus. Usually the weather has no impact but occasionally, such as last week, there are times the transportation is too much of a pain in the ass to consider so I stay home.

  4. Live at Parkside and Weber. Am so lazy I sometimes take the 9 to not have to walk 3 minutes to the iXpress stop. Walking or biking are out of the question. I sometimes get a ride to not have to walk from the bus stop to my class because I'm that lazy. If the weather is bad, I'm not making it out of my bed, let alone to school.

  5. Not sure about distance, but its a 7 minute bus ride. Never walk to campus, have walked home on really nice days, weekends or after last bus. Ive biked through campus, but campus has never been my destination. I like to drive some times when I just don't want to have to deal with the bus. I can make it in like 4 minutes if i go fast (safely) or get every light with either little or fast traffic.
