QUESTION: What does it mean when I have submitted an INC petition to my
professor(19th) and on quest(25th) it appears as DNW? I got the VIF
from UW services diagnosed as severe incapacitation.
If you didn't write the final exam, you get a DNW. After 2 school terms, it changes into INC which is a failing grade. That is how I understand the whole process.
It means that you should first wait a few weeks. Nothing is official until the official grade date; your prof may not have entered the INC yet or something and it is the winter break. If it isn't changed by the official grade date, then you should contact your prof in writing about it.

ReplyDeleteINC isn't a failing grade. After 2 terms with an INC, your mark becomes a 32.
