QUESTION: Anyone like kpop or korean dramas... I like both but I find it hard to
make friends because I`m not a visible asian... any ideas where I can
find people with these common interests? Thanks!
+1. Almost all the Asians I've met watch dramas or listen to kpop/jpop.
I watch a lot of dramas (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, TVB, whatever) but I stopped listening to Kpop when I got into uni (except for Exo, not leaving Exo).
I don't follow Kpop as much (other than SNSD and KARA) but I do follow J-pop idol groups a lot - more specifically SKE48,AKB48,NMB48,HKT48, Morning Musume, C-ute, Juice=juice and the rest of the Hello Project family except for Berryz Kobo.
Not sure if you like a particular kpop group or whatnot, but theres huge online fan communities you can be a part of...fan sites, tumblr, fanfic sites, etc. etc. the list goes on. It's easy to find online friends that way. If you're talking about in real life...almost all the asians I know watch kdramas. Just ask around, im sure you'll find someone who enjoys it as much as you do :)
