Uhhhhhhhh really? They look ugly on girls to begin with so I don't know why you would want that kind of shit on your feet. If you're looking for warm boots get Timberlands or something that will actually last.
But if you're going for the I'm a sheep/I'm an absolute tool look then go for it bud. Just be prepared to look like a moron in your crushed/collapsed and salt stained foot oven mitts.
As a girl, I don't like how they look. They're ugly and I wouldn't wear them. But to be fair, they are warm and comfortable and in your case, I think they do look unisex.
Why don't you look into other sheepskin boots, I know flurries has stuff (for girls at least) and it looks similar just without that ugly foot hump and some extra cute trimmings.. I'm sure they carry guy stuff... Maybe?
Why is everyone in this thread saying "people would think you're gay" like its a bad thing. You would only think people thinking you're gay is a bad thing if you think there is something wrong with being gay.
Go for it if that's what you want OP. Personally, I wouldn't, but I'm not a fan of them on anyone. Don't let what other people think influence you, including my opinion!
Being gay and looking gay are two very different things. Most people are starting to come around on the being gay thing, so I don't think (most) people here are saying "being gay is wrong".
Looking gay is looking like a (negative) stereotype. Not many people in their right mind want to walk around looking like caricatures.
Guy here. I'm okay with gays, but I am not gay. Therefore, I do not want those around me to think I am. That doesn't mean I think there's something wrong with being gay/
I think a more accurate word that people are looking for is "effeminate". There's nothing wrong with being gay, but I don't think many straight OR gay guys want to look effeminate. But if that' the look you're going for, buy yourself some Uggs.
I looked at some of the stuff for guys at Lululemon once and they have some pretty slick stuff. Saw a few hoodies that looked and felt really nice but you gotta pay for that quality.
Dont get them. Not for style reasons and what not, but because they are extremely impractical in waterloo. Because of how much salt they use here the snow is usually pretty slushy and Uggs serve as sponges to absorb all the water and then not dry out for days. I legitimately wore flip flops last January, because then my feet would be more dry than if I wore my uggs. Also because of how much salt they use, it stains Uggs pretty badly and makes them crunchy. So they don't look great and are less comfy.
I switched to Sorrel's this year (which are waterproof) and it has been significantly better
Exactly. They are so expensive too. If you're going to pay that much on a pair of boots, you should be able to wear them anywhere, with confidence that they are going to survive through the day. In weather like we've experienced already this winter, you'd be lucky if your boots stayed looking decent for a week. Tops. Seriously. All it takes is one good drenching and the salt and grime ruins the finish forever.
Speaking from experience here - my Uggs are drying off beside me right now - I wish I had someone tell me how much slush and salt are on the sidewalks. Definitely do not wear your uggs if there is more than 2 cms of snow on the ground. And if you're seeing girls and guys with Uggs dry as a bone - they're being chaffeured around.
I am a proud ugg owner. They are warm and comfy and dry ( if you spray them ofcourse). I can't deny they don't look that attractive but who cares. People are just jealous they can't drop $200+ to walk on a fluff like we can.
they can look cute :)
ReplyDeleteI dont think I've seen guys wear them but go for it!
ReplyDeleteThe only time I've seen a guy wear uggs was in the Conestoga Mall Zehrs. Dude looked like he was on acid. He did look comfy though.
ReplyDeleteAlso people are probably going to assume you're gay. Which, if you are gay, is not a problem!

DeleteOMG YOU'RE FEMALE???? That totally changes everything!!!
DeleteYOU'RE A DOUCHEBAG???? That totally changes everything!!!
Delete4 made a comment about how Uggs look on girls so 4a's comment was fine and you're just a dick
i am strongly opposed to even girls wearing uggs.
ReplyDeleteseriously. no. just no.
Uggs look ridiculous on human beings period.
ReplyDeleteBut if you're going for the I'm a sheep/I'm an absolute tool look then go for it bud. Just be prepared to look like a moron in your crushed/collapsed and salt stained foot oven mitts.
I was going to say sheep are cute until I realized you were referring to sheeple, not a resemblance to the animal...
DeleteTims are warm comfortable and will last a long time and look manly
ReplyDelete+1

HA gaayyyyyyyy
ReplyDeleteMy motto in life: Wear what you want!
ReplyDeleteIf you want to do it, just do it. Who cares what anyone thinks.
Are you Korean?
ReplyDeleteIt's weird that we would have the same shoes. I would probably assume you were gay, even though I know that's wrong of me.
ReplyDelete- a girl
unless you're homosexual and want people to know, DO NOT BUY THEM

Everyone says that people would think you're gay because it is a bad thing. Gay people won't be welcome in society for at least another 50 years.

DeleteThey're called uggs for a reason.
ReplyDelete+1. Even the manufacturer doesn't have faith in the aesthetic appeal of their product.
Deleteget them - super warm and comfortable, but if you do wear them confidently!
ReplyDelete"I didn't choose the Ugg life; the Ugg life chose me"
ReplyDeleteGo for it OP. Wear whatever you are most comfortable with!
They have mens uggs
ReplyDeletewhat about men wearing the mens lululemon???
I looked at some of the stuff for guys at Lululemon once and they have some pretty slick stuff. Saw a few hoodies that looked and felt really nice but you gotta pay for that quality.
Delete*you gotta pay for that name markup
DeleteThe look just awful. I am sorry but they do.
ReplyDeleteyou'd get chirped so hard
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see a guy wear uggs, I laugh so hard.
ReplyDeleteUm, I wouldn't wear them if I were you. They are ugly enough on girls. We don't need to add guys to the mix too.
ReplyDeleteWho cares what other people think? Do whatever makes you happy. People, open your minds, no judgement!
ReplyDeleteDont get them. Not for style reasons and what not, but because they are extremely impractical in waterloo.
