QUESTION: What happens when you fail a class in university? I am a first year ARBUS student and there is a chance I will fail a class this term.

  3. If it's a mandatory course & lab but you just fail the lab do you have to take it again?

    1. If the lab is a separate course, yes.
      Not too sure if it's a combined lab. Email your undergrad advisor, they can tell you everything you need to know.

  4. First year ARBUS who might fail all of my classes here: On the upside, you're not me. My understanding is if you miss a required class like one of the ARBUS classes (Econ/Arbus101,102,202), you can just retake them and as long as you do well enough to get that 75 average you're good. Otherwise just move on.

    1. Actually if you are in Co-op it is a pretty big deal, getting a job will become exponentially harder now. I failed a course in 2A (had a job already for 2B and did "excellent" in it) and now I am not getting any interviews.
